Deeply woven into Vienna’s creative scene, Anne moves effortlessly between opera, immersive theater, contemporary performance, and everything in between. Her collaborations stretch from Nesterval at the Wiener Staatsoper and Wiener Festwochen, to genre-bending projects at Das Vindobona and VienNoir, placing her alongside some of the city’s most adventurous artists. 

From world premieres and contemporary opera to recordings for CPO and Marco Polo, Anne Wieben is a leader in nurturing new voices and fresh approaches in classical singing. She is Executive Director of Really Spicy Opera, co-director of its Aria Institute for composers and librettists, and founder of Opera on the Lake.
